On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, GSB Uganda was honored to participate in the annual celebration of St. James Secondary School in Jinja, Uganda. This event marked a significant milestone in the school’s history, commemorating 53 years of excellence in education and a dedication to nurturing future leaders. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Sustainability of Quality Performance as a Team,” reflecting the school’s commitment to upholding and improving its standards.
The event featured the esteemed presence of Rt. Rev. Paul M.S. Naimanhye, the Bishop of the Busoga Diocese, who presided over the proceedings as the guest of honor. It served as a poignant reminder of education’s unifying power, transcending boundaries and fostering community cohesion.
The celebration included speeches, performances, and exhibitions that highlighted the school’s commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence. St. James Secondary School has played a crucial role as a nurturing ground for numerous young minds, equipping them with knowledge, skills, and values for lifelong success.
